Week 6 Agenda and Learning Goals

Monday:

No School – Teacher Professional Day

Tuesday:

ELA: Students will take their vocabulary test and Seedfolks unit test.  Students will be able to demonstrate their knowledge on character analysis, comprehension skills, and evidence-based answers by taking their Seedfolks unit test.

SS: Students will be able to read a text and explain how accomplishments of the present depend upon the accomplishments of the past.

Homework: None.

Wednesday:

ELA: Students will be able to prewrite and draft their personal Seedfolks narratives.

SS: Students will be able to read and understand a text and develop thinking maps to organize their notes.

Homework: Finish unfinished class work.

Thursday:

ELA: Students will be able to peer revise and edit their personal Seedfolks narratives.

SS: Students will be able to read and summarize a text to understand the main ideas.

Homework: Finish unfinished class work.

Friday:

ELA: Students will be able to complete a final draft of their personal Seedfolks narratives.

SS: Students will be able to review and answer questions regarding information learned throughout the week about links with people from the past.

Homework: Finish unfinished class work.
